Interval is a European artistic and production studio.
Based in Barcelona and Brussels Interval conceives, develops and produces visual narratives, artworks and experiences that take place in public space, museums, exhibitions, events and on stage.
At the crossroads of art, image, space and technology, Interval accompanies projects from their first intuition through to their realisation, bringing together artistic direction, curation, dramaturgy, digital craft, spatial design and production.
For more than twenty years, the Interval team has developed in-depth knowledge of the artistic practices, technologies and craft skills needed to conceive and produce ambitious, thoughtfully crafted projects.

[ STORIES BEYOND
THE FRAME ]
Interval explores the ways images become stories, and
how stories can unfold beyond the image.
Between still image and moving image, screen and architecture, wall and stage, Interval creates visual narratives that move across media and spaces. Curation, artistic direction, dramaturgy and staging become ways of writing these narratives and giving them a presence.
[ SPACES FOR ATTENTION ]
Interval considers space as an artistic medium.
Interval considers space as an artistic medium. intervention in public space become possible situations for creating the conditions for attention, encounter, contemplation and transmission. Space thus becomes a device for attention.
[ ARTS IN BETWEEN ]
Interval works in the spaces in between.
exploring the frictions and complementarities between manual know-how and digital creation, between matter and pixel, technological precision and the sensitive gesture. This gives rise to hybrid forms: sensitive architectures, totemic arts, situations of hospitality, shared landscapes and devices for interrelation.
